Auditor Mingo honored by peers with the “highest professional honor” an assessment jurisdiction can obtain!
Auditor Mingo was honored to announce today the preeminent authority on assessment administration has awarded his office their highest award, the Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration.
The International Association of Assessing Officers independently and objectively determined Auditor Mingo and his staff are meeting standards and best practices in the appraisal profession and are enhancing the public trust. Out of more than 3,500 assessing jurisdictions, Auditor Mingo’s recognition puts him as the first in the state and in the top 1% in the country by having earned the distinction.
When asked about the award, Auditor Mingo said, “Property owners in Franklin County should have full confidence that we are utilizing only the best, most sound standards in appraisal. Our staff is the best in the state and we will continue to offer residents the finest in public service.”
The IAAO is the leading nonprofit, educational and research association for individuals in the assessment profession and others with an interest in property valuation and taxation.
